Yirong Zhou is an associate professor of Pharmacy, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), and secretary of the party branch of the department of Medicinal Chemistry. He obtained his B.Sc. degree and Ph.D. degree from HUST at 2008 and 2013, respectively. Then he worked as postdoc researcher at Aix-Marseille University, France and University of Freiburg, Germany, respectively. He received the support from High-level Talents Plan of Hubei Province.
